Weekly progress #41

Greenfeet Haven

Hello, dear Greenfeet friends! May the grass be soft beneath your feet!

Progress of the week

It's been a week since I released the alpha version. I've received a lot of feedback, written, recorded, and through the in-game feedback system. Thank you all once more! It has taught me a lot about the current weak points of the game, like it's lack of explanations. I'm currently working on an optional tutorial to help players get started. It will be a light, contextual tutorial that responds to situations encountered in the game. The idea is to help you understand more complex mechanics without forcing you into 30 minutes of reading. The code is already well along, and I'm hopeful I can publish this feature for next Friday's build.

A tutorial preview

From now on, the weekly progress updates will include a "changelog" section with a more detailed list of all changes made with each build.

That's a wrap for this week. Thank you for reading!
