Greenfeet Haven

Hello, dear Greenfeet friends! May the grass be soft beneath your feet!

Time has flown by over the past 15 days. I've been completely absorbed in crash and rendering fixes for the game. In particular, a bug on certain graphics cards was preventing some textures from displaying. That one took me several days of work to understand and finally find a solution for.

I released the latest version of the demo on the beta branch, and if all goes well, this version will be deployed as the stable release next week. It's now time for me to focus on gameplay bugs, there are still a few cases of Greenfeet getting stuck, running in circles, or refusing to eat. I've also been thinking a lot about how to improve the research system, and I can't wait to test some of the ideas I've written down, as I already mentioned in a previous post. Time really does fly!

Fixes:

  • Fixed: Missing ground, wall and roof textures on some older driver or integrated GPUs.
  • Fixed: Green checkmark not going away in the discovery bench when obtaining new materials.
