Greenfeet Haven

Hey! I hope you had a wonderful week!

It was an interesting one for me as I learned how to use Capcut. I’ve been fully focused on producing the first ever trailer for the game. But you will have to be patient before watching it: I plan to release it early September after my holidays. I’ve watched the same minute of footage for 5 days so I need to take a break from it to be more objective about its quality, and improve it if needed.

Nonetheless, some new stuff were added to the game this week:

  • Cut trees are now replaced by stumps, that can also be cut.
  • A new “work reaction” system was added allowing to toggle visual effects at a precise timing when a greenfeet is working. For instance the axe hits on a tree now make it blink and shake.
  • New furnitures and items were added: bookcases, alchemy table, tool racks and more…
  • New floor types were added: paved roads, carpets, and dirt road variations.

As I said last week, this is the last update before the end of August as I will be taking it easy this month to focus on summer family time. I wish you all an excellent month!
